Mr. Hesham is a B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering with over 35 years of experience of management & leadership in Plant Inspection & Corrosion Engineering, Asset Integrity Management, Risk based inspection & Fitness for service, NDT, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Integrity related Contract management, Failure Analysis, Welding & material, Third party inspection, Training & Consultation in the field of Oil & Gas.
He has served on key positions in renowned organizations and have several accomplishments to his name, such as:
- Define methods of inspection and draw up procedures for the inspection of different types of equipment with regard for legal requirements, accepted international engineering codes, and save working practice, giving detailed requirements for individual items which define the scope, extent and frequency of inspection necessary to ensure safe and efficient condition of field.
- Issue/review the annual RBI reports as per the available software and prepare the required action plans for each asset
- Ensure that any plant modification or repairs completed in accordance with relevant construction codes. This may require the interpretation and judgment of radiographs and ultrasonic scans.
He hold various authorized certifications such as API-570 (Piping Inspector), API-510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector), API 653 (Tank Inspector) , API-580 (Risk Based Inspection) & ASNT Level II in Ultra Sonic testing, Radiographic testing, Magnetic Particle testing, Liquid penetrant testing & Eddy current testing. Moreover, Mr. Hesham is also a free-lance API instructor with 10 years of experience in conducting the courses for multinational companies, such as API courses (510, 653, 570 & 580) as exam preparation. In addition, conducted different courses for all inspection activities and quality control issues as required via several training center.
